time to pass up the green paper.
kinda was feeling that my option wasn't right.
sth wrong.
8.3o went down canteen
getting ready for CCI challenge.
at arnd 9 we set off for KENT RIDGE PARK.
damn i love that place.
the scenery at the look out point,the breeze the everything.
rocks 1oo%
CCI was something like orienteering ecxept it was of a much smaller scale and involves all the sec 2 UG members.
scouts,NPCC,NCC,red cross were split up into groups of about five.
we split up and found a group with the jianrong,edmund,yongming,shengrong.
jr,ym,sr and edmund are the top 12 and i'm like the odd one in that group.
groups were:
alpha,beta,charlie,delta,e-something,foxtrot,golf,h-something,india,jaguar,and L-something.
we were in the group GOLF. planned to like win coz we thot that this might be easier than the orienteering.
set off for kent ridge park.
the ldrs were given tasks and as soon as the challenge started
we ran like hell to the fitness corner. there was some doubts but found it.
FIRST STATION:
'fitness corner'
we had to do like 5 pull-ups.
jr,edmund and jr did 5.
me and shengrong did 4.5.
well. headed off to next then.
SECOND STATION:
'soldier shootout'
LOLS. it was like jus beside the first station.
had to shoot down some little soldiers set up by the instructor who said that : "she wasnt ahlian"
i think i only shot down 3.
well.completed and headed for next.
THIRD STATION:
'decoding-look out point'
this station needed not only brains but teamwork.
it was fun. with the +1 - 1 thingy.
arranged A to Z into 1 to 26.
decoded it- "proceed to next checkpoint"
at that moment,we were quick because we managed to leave at the same time as junwei's group even thou they came earlier.
then headed for next.
FOURTH STATION:
'puzzle block'
at this station, we had to rearrange the puzzle pieces into a shape that has isn't hollow in the center.
came up with the 3 columns rectangle and finshed just after a minute.
then came the time wasting and confusing part.we kinda dont know where to go. ran up and down then decided go look for the map board.
took quite a long time to find out where we were,but after that got back on our tracks and before we know it, we were running.mostly thanks to jr.
when on our way to the canopy walk, we saw boon ping walking out from the canopy walk.
he said there was no one and nothing there.felt kinda weird abt it and headed in.
TRUST NO ONE BUT TEAM MEMBERS =]
FIFTH STATION.
'phone number pad related decoding'
we were give a paper.sth liddat.
it was sth liddat. the code was : goodjob
we then chiong to the finishing line.then think saw junwei they all de group there.
finished qns and handed it in.
the red cross girls then came in and handed it up.
then went in to the bukit chandu building thingy to lok at the exehibits.
hell. am i getting more interested in the history of singapore.
lt. adnan,bukit chandu,226,those who died in the battle against the japs. the malay regiments,"C" company and many many more.
the day for CCI ended. the red cross won first,india.
followed by our group, golf.
then hongwei's group,delta.
the day for CCI ended with a movie.
those brave soldiers.that fought to the end.
sacrifices.
bravery.
will be remembered....
then go back school for NCC training and taicang meeting. wth. lasted less than 3o min leh.disappointed lol.
then went makan outside school and it was already like 2.1o
the time was very tight.
kena pumped becoz of unbuttoned button -.-
think i dint put back the button after taking out the compass last time.
now arm aching like hell.
the training.my CNC was bad.
made things go haywire.
very badly.
then PT.wth sia. the burst blister on my left hand isnt doing anygood for me for pt.
then after that went home and met a VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY cute cat.
SERIOUSLY CUTE.can ask edmund.
tmr is the big day for the top 1o orienteering ppl.
