last 2 days di not have much time to post about 28-o3-o8's Cultural Night and SpeechDay.
it will be my first and last cultural night performance =( .
so the next Cultural Night will be 2 years later.
too bad that it happens once every 2 years.DARN!
so now i should talk about it ba.

28-o3-o8
woke up at around 6.5o and get ready to go to school.
its like any other school day but fuhua pupils did not have to go to school!xD
so i thought that it was going to be quite slack.
had to prepare myself for the 8.3o am to 1opm "preparation for speech day/cultural night"
got into school, slacked around till around 9 then the drummers and other groups like CO and band boarded to bus heading for SINGAPORE POLYTECHINC.

the trip there took about 15+ minutes. i even have time to sleep
the place is nice~ think quite nice facilities too.
shifted drums to the auditorium.
marked our drum positions and practiced the score.
WE actually sang the whole thing out.
LOL DAMN FUNNY.

the auditorium wasnt as big as i expected.
t i could start to imagine how wld it be like when the place fills up.
audiences cheering. very very high atmosphere.
what's it like to be a performer?
get up to the stage and you'll know.

from around 1o to 11,
we were given time to rest and slack around.
me,engmeng,sr,jr,junwei,jiasheng and hx went to makan at koufu.
there looks quite nice. quite a good place to study too!

we had our first rehearsal and it ended at around 12 plus.
we ate our lunch and had another rehearsal around 2?
if i not wrong.

then from 3.3o to 7, we had our free time.
we can do our homework,sleep or even eat.
shiok sia. so long.
hmm.i slacked at the highest part of the auditorium with ian and other part D's,
and discussing about the solar car too.
too quite a few " from the top" pics and i think i will post the ma bit later.

finally. the actual thing started.
speech day ended at around 5 plus and its gonna be our turn.
CULTURAL NIGHT IS ABOUT TO START!
this is my first yet last one =/
it's the part D performers' last one too.

took our drums and stood at the back stage.
FINALLY its our turn. the best part of the concert (thats what ppl say).
6 minutes of drums, and with an ending pose.
its all worth it.
the 2 months of training paid off. time,dedication too!

as the concert ended, the drummers cheered and shouted as we walked along the back stage.
"the next drum performance will be a long time.thanks shixiong for your guidance"
i've got many things to say about the cultural night.but i guess

got home only around 1.3o am. had a nice time at night.
3 hours ! 8.15pm ~ 11.15 pm.




It's been a wonderful experience.
performing is fun.and i will not regret that i went into drums.
The time spent,pain and blisters. Its all worth it~



we trained hard for tmr's cultural night.
if i'm not wrong, since january 22.
hmm. what a long way. time's fast now 28.o3 le
hmm. gotta sleep early cos tmr will be a very longggggggggggg day.

overall today's quite fun but at the same time very tense.
enjoyed playing the drums but got a bit nervous when we were told our posts for june camp.

and that is to confiscate things.
they can go from handphones to shoes.
so far i collected my ezlink and wallet back.
think sy's gonna be worse.
everything on him that's confiscate-able has all been confiscated.
so the next one might be his shoe.
thats good too. can find excuse to pon PE =]

today's PE was quite fun.
VOLLEYBALL!
darren tan's a joker.kept whacking the ball on his own side.
then the other team kept gaining points.
its a fun game~

our class every lesson like at least got 1 or more ppl kena punished today.
chem 6 ppl sland at the back.
chinese 11 ppl sit outside.
aiya. nothing's better when compared to that day's chinese class!
more than half the class sitting one row outside! =D

hmm tmr's gonna be slack during tunnel ball but during NCC i dont think will be.
might have IFC mutual and know the post for june camp.
i hope to get my desired post ^^

went to school around 1 plus for "tunnel ball"
i think its some game thing that will be played on air sometime later in the future.
its just about 4o pupils standing in a straight line,
passing the ball up or down,
but the turns must be alternate.

soso, we reached school around 1.
mdm tok said the whole things will finish around 5 plus.
waste 4 hour.argh!?
the mediacorp ppl came to record us playing " tunnel ball"
it was quite fun but rather stupid at some times.
especially when we drop the ball and the ppl at the front have to fun back again.
many ppl were there...
junjian,hongwei,ian,jianrong,weiyang,weijun,yuqing,kevin.
one whole lot la.

so we played till 5 plus, but we din complete the whole thing.
dropping the ball often was the reason.
then left school around 5 and took 99 to shengrong's house with ian and kevin.
me and ian stopped at 71o bus stop and walked to 988b.
the walk was okay~ not really very long =]
reached under the block and saw ziqi.

there was just a damn wide spread of food along the corridor la~
buffet ? many things to eat. hanbin is happy =D
so we ate and had drinks all that lor.

celebrated edmund's birthday below sr's block and played in the web after that.
and i seem to realise that bmt is kinda fun.

then very tired, in class even cant concentrate.

today woke up at around 6.3o
late late ==
i normally wake up at 5.2o and leave house at 6.
then today i woke at 6.3o and left at 7.
waited for taxi downstairs but none came zzz.
so i calld taxi, at around 7.o7 taxi came and i left for school.
DAMN!
the road which turns in to JJC was jammed.
wasted like 1o plus mins there.
so in the end the fare was 12.7o and i was still declared LATE .
i was like damn pissedzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.


hmm.quite a few friends also late.

nothing much happened during school hours.
after school, the taicang ppl went to collect their "TAICANG TRIP 2oo7" disc.
now i'm looking at the slideshow.

brings back lots and lots of memories.

2.3o,me,sr,ian and jr went for the "cultural night finale" thing.
it was quite draggy. its from 2.3o to abt 5.3o and itclashed with NCC.
the starting part of the rehersal was quite boring.
the fun part was when we really really had to MOVE~
kinda shiok!
then we left at around 4.45 plus.
4 of us went to toilet and changed in the DNT toilet.
spent quite long inside and then around 5 plus went down to training.

HELL.I TELL YOU THE TRAINING WAS DAMNNNN FUN!
because we just came and we were clean,
chuan heng and joel wanted us to roll in the mud.
ya. and we got dirty very quickly.

we finished training and then were briefed about tmr's IMT practice.

left house at 4.3o and met shengrong at boonlay interchange.
then we rode mrt to jurong east and met up with pei le,weijun and yongming.
took train and reached yio chu kang.
went in around 7.
surrendered ur phones and went to MPH.
we waited for more than half an hour.
there were cadets having supernumary course.
then colin saw us and told us supposed to go to block 246.
if not will be waiting for damn long le.
had a talk about the trip and we soon went to bunk and slept in 245.
inside bunk alot ants around the bed lol.

had breakfast and we headed off for malaysia.
cleared 2nd link and we slept in the bus for 2 hours~
time pass very fast in the bus leh.
then reached petrol station and took 4WD.

had briefing and went to our rooms.
put down our bags and went for breifing about water rafting.
then went to water raft. it was like super dumb.
i sat behind ridzuan and ke kept splashing water on me instead of paddle ==
like dont know how to listen to instructions.
so i got all wet.
went to kampong peta and saw the animal traps(demo-ed by orang aslis).
damn cool.
then we had a walk back to NERC,reached back and many ppl tio leech.
and their whatever~
went to bathe and still had no bed.
me and shengrong tot we could sleep in the girls room cos no bed lol.
had icebreaking games. the hwa chong guy is very active.

hmm. we went to have our dinner in the dark(w.o lights)
and learnt to make malay crafts.din get to make the sword ==

woke up and packed things for the 1 night stay at the family resort.
it was very noisy in the room,heard that one guy tio one beetle in mouth.
FAIZ is a joker lol.
"the beetle was this big [ ].LOL"
then we took a boat to somewhere
and trekked to the family chalet.
the place was damn shitty. tot it was nice lol.
had our lunch in our bags,
and went for a LONGGGGGG 13km trek in the "leech infested" forest.
they told us one student before us kena on kuku and balls.one girl kena near eye.
started to worry,prayed that the leech socks will work.
i love trekking like this.damn fun xD
go bukit timah trek sure no prob.

was behind sr in the jungle.
then we went thru obstacles.help each other thru situations.
this is what i like =]
TEAMWORK OKAY?
there's one point of time i lost balance and almost fell into nothingness.
only way was to grab anything i see.
so i saw a "thorny plant" infront of me and i started pushing it repeatedly balance myself.
in my mind was like " ouch fuck fuck fuck. pain"==
then luckily peile grabbed me.
the thorns in my hand zzzzzzzzzzzz.
i looked at my hand,thorns sticking out and bleeding ==
continued trekking and plucking the thorns.
dinnie help me cleared quite a few and i'm leaving 2 on my hand.

reached the place,checked our legs for leeches and went to the clear stream.
we reached and me and peile sat in the hut.
zz the hut was bloody hell infested with "steaming" leeches.
they keep erecting like hell.
so quickily ran into the clear stream.
they say inside got big big water leech. so a lot of us ran out.
but the malays like no reaction. they kept playing.

then we went to eat lunch.
opened,there was leeches everywhere.
got 2 on sr's shirt.
we're more like flicking leeches than eating.
i saw one in my plastic bag. irritated. so din eat le __
trekked the LONGGGGG 13km back to family chalet.
yomgming kept almost GG on the way.
his hands in damn bad condition. kena by sharp roots and thorns.
he feel down many times, once almost went down.

reached the family chalet and cleaned up.
slacked in the rooms.
met pyro dude kris. i wanna learn more lol.
flaming hand,flaming middle finger and blow torch.ROCKS.!
lied down and i wanna thank dinnie for helping me thorns.

went for dinner and went back to room to slacked again.
we all decided to ton(no sleep) for the night and talk ghost stories and 3 word game.
but scared of " deepavali".
invited the girls over and we talked for almost the whole night.
it was very very fun.
in the end only left de ren,amos,me,kris,weijun,sr and aj.
so we played goldfish and other games.fun fun fun xD
ton-ed thru the night~

oh ya. the "red house" freaked me out damn badly

eveyone woke up.
FINALLY~me,kris and a few others lied and stretched on the mat.
i shall cut short..
so we had breakfast and trekked to the place and took the boat back.
the water current was scary.
saw a few boats that drifted out of control.
din know why we were dropped at NERC.
so informed that we stopped wrong place.zzz
went back and stopped at kampong peta.
had a SHORT trek back and went to a very beautiful chalet
cleaned up,bathed,ate and took group pic in the rain.

took the 4WD and went back to the petrol station.
the roads were flooded.
we stopped at the destroyed bridge and waited to cross it by foot.
quite a few of us answered nature's call in the bushes.
lolol.the wakeboard hwa chong guy did it first then he prayed.

petrol station and we went to the bus.
time to sleep.reached back to je around 1o plus.
ate KFC with Shengrong, Sockleng, Huijie, Waiyee, Dinnie and Kris.
took 99 back with sr and reached home around 12.

overall, this trip was freaking fun.
made a lot of trips and only a few leech bites.
i gonna keep these 4 days in my head.
not gonna forget it.
