last 2 days di not have much time to post about 28-o3-o8's Cultural Night and SpeechDay.
it will be my first and last cultural night performance =( .
so the next Cultural Night will be 2 years later.
too bad that it happens once every 2 years.DARN!
so now i should talk about it ba.

28-o3-o8
woke up at around 6.5o and get ready to go to school.
its like any other school day but fuhua pupils did not have to go to school!xD
so i thought that it was going to be quite slack.
had to prepare myself for the 8.3o am to 1opm "preparation for speech day/cultural night"
got into school, slacked around till around 9 then the drummers and other groups like CO and band boarded to bus heading for SINGAPORE POLYTECHINC.

the trip there took about 15+ minutes. i even have time to sleep
the place is nice~ think quite nice facilities too.
shifted drums to the auditorium.
marked our drum positions and practiced the score.
WE actually sang the whole thing out.
LOL DAMN FUNNY.
tum tum tum tum ta!

the auditorium wasnt as big as i expected.
t i could start to imagine how wld it be like when the place fills up.
audiences cheering. very very high atmosphere.
what's it like to be a performer?
get up to the stage and you'll know.

from around 1o to 11,
we were given time to rest and slack around.
me,engmeng,sr,jr,junwei,jiasheng and hx went to makan at koufu.
there looks quite nice. quite a good place to study too!

we had our first rehearsal and it ended at around 12 plus.
we ate our lunch and had another rehearsal around 2?
if i not wrong.

then from 3.3o to 7, we had our free time.
we can do our homework,sleep or even eat.
shiok sia. so long.
hmm.i slacked at the highest part of the auditorium with ian and other part D's,
and discussing about the solar car too.
too quite a few " from the top" pics and i think i will post the ma bit later.

finally. the actual thing started.
speech day ended at around 5 plus and its gonna be our turn.
CULTURAL NIGHT IS ABOUT TO START!
this is my first yet last one =/
it's the part D performers' last one too.

took our drums and stood at the back stage.
FINALLY its our turn. the best part of the concert (thats what ppl say).
6 minutes of drums, and with an ending pose.
its all worth it.
the 2 months of training paid off. time,dedication too!
DRUMMERS HUAT ARH!

as the concert ended, the drummers cheered and shouted as we walked along the back stage.
"the next drum performance will be a long time.thanks shixiong for your guidance"
i've got many things to say about the cultural night.but i guess
"a picture tells a thousand words"
=]

got home only around 1.3o am. had a nice time at night.
3 hours ! 8.15pm ~ 11.15 pm.

It's been a wonderful experience.
performing is fun.and i will not regret that i went into drums.
The time spent,pain and blisters. Its all worth it~
